Aerokopter AK1-3 is a light helicopter, which can be used for a range of practical purposes:

Airframe

The design of the airframe load-carrying structure of this lightweight helicopter differs essentially from regular airframes. The center section of the airframe is a tubular open frame carrying the cockpit, power plant, main rotor gearbox, landing gear and a strut-supported tail boom with horizontal and vertical stabilizers.

Cockpit

The cockpit encloses the crew area and contains the flight controls and instrument panel. The cockpit is formed by a floor section, a cockpit fairing, a belly fairing and doors. Large windows give an extensive all-round view.
